Stern Crime is a German magazine for true crime stories, so nonfictional events of for example murders and serial killers, that became quite famous because of the circumstances. Their readers are therefore interested in getting a view behind the scenes and learn more about forensics and criminology.

For issue 20 I designed, photographed, edited and layouted an alternative cover, centering on a night at the basement of a club. What happened to the girl, how she ended there and what continues after the scene is up to the imagination of the viewer.

The dark atmosphere and strong purple and blue light are giving the scene nightlife feelings, the proximity between camera and model make it to something really intimate.
