Sometimes it is critical to get quick ideas down or have a collection of thoughts and moods to refer to. I love creating moodboards for this, be it on Pinterest or on a single digital document for a special theme. 

Here I quickly scribbled cities at night in vibrant colors to get that Cyberpunk/Neo Tokyo feeling.

Most of the times I actually prefer looking at rough sketches because I like the dynamic of the flow the brush creates. It always creates so much personality!

For the same project I also created some character design sketches for the main character.
