A visual learning experience
In a world overflowing with quick content, learning strategies are often presented as long, overly scientific, or unrelatable. Many people — especially students and lifelong learners — crave educational content that’s both engaging and visually digestible. The challenge was to distill useful learning methods into a short, animated video that captures attention and leaves a lasting impression — all within one minute.
Each segment focuses on one practical learning tip, visualized through playful, relatable scenes. Storyboards were created to plan composition, pacing, and transitions early on. Experimentation with sound design and subtle voiceover narration added emotional depth and narrative rhythm.
Inspired by Kurzgesagt’s storytelling clarity and visual rhythm, the animation embraces a softer, more personal tone. Instead of geometric minimalism, the visuals use hand-drawn illustrations and painterly textures, aligning with my own style and giving the video warmth and personality. Pastel colors, round shapes, and fluid motion evoke a calm, motivating mood — designed to make learning feel encouraging, not overwhelming.
The result
A one-minute motion design short that transforms abstract learning concepts into tangible, charming animations. It simplifies educational science into something visually delightful and emotionally resonant — a piece that informs and inspires.

Extending the experience
To extend the motion short into a tangible context, I designed a cohesive identity for a fictional event inspired by the film’s message.
The goal was to translate motion into matter — turning abstract ideas about growth and learning into a tangible, shareable brand experience.
The visual identity of the event carries over the short’s soft color palette and hand-drawn illustrations, creating a warm and approachable tone. Designed materials include tickets, posters, tote bags, flyers, and stickers, all centered around the concept of “making knowledge feel joyful.”
Every touchpoint was treated as an invitation — not only to attend, but to engage, experiment, and rediscover the fun in learning. The cohesive branding ensures that the event feels like a natural continuation of the animation, connecting motion design, storytelling, and physical experience into one seamless narrative.
